SOUTH QUAY, the Whitstable Harbour Market has been improved with the introduction of new timber fishermen's huts supplied by local company, Quinneys. We have also added a giant inflatable ship to keep the little ones amused, supplied by local leisure experts, MW Leisure. The new community of local suppliers, producers and independent businesses was renamed WHITSTABLE HARBOUR VILLAGE, on March 1st 2008. Whitstable Harbour Village is THE venue for local producers, designers, artists and independant local business, located in the heart of Whitstable Harbour.

The second week-end of the Whitstable Oyster Festival, 25, 26 and 27 July marks the EPICENTRE, a grand food and drink event held across Whitstable Harbour. Kentish Trader have been asked by Canterbury City Council and the Oyster Festival Director to recruit the finest local food and drink suppliers and to help co-ordinate an ambitious annual event celebrating the very best of local food and drink.

Over 75,000 visitors are expected for the 2008 festival, so if you would like to get involved please contact us today for an application form.
